B. New Arm Phones Are Able To Connect With Ftdi Base Ports. If Phone IS CID49 Or Upper Then CID49 You Can Use DCU60 And Flash Mode or Recovery Mode.
C. DB2020 And A2 Have 2 Type Of Mode.

8. What Is Cid?
A . This "number" defines the version of SE's protection present in the phone. New CIDs are deployed from time to time.
Current CIDs in use by SE are 29/36/37/49/50/51/52 & now 53.

9. What Is Erom ?
A. Erom Is External Rom Which Do Semc DB2010 DB2012 DB2020 And A2 Secure Access For GDFS And Many Magic Things.
Erom Have Work To Start Phone And Keep It Off In Case Of Bad Data Of GDFS Or Erom It Will Show Only Red Blink At Irda(infrared or charging led).

10. What Is GDFS?
A . This is the phones "stash", where all settings and calibration data is stored (this also goes for the firmwares IMEI-resource as well as the SIMlocks). Similar to other brands use of NVRAM (Non-Viotile Random Access Memory).
GDFS Is Most Important Thing At Semc Phones Till Now. Older Phone Having All Security Data In It. Calibration Data In It.
#DB2010 Have Calibration Data In, Sim Lock Data And Most Of Activity Of Phone Store There Like Contacts Number Sms Todo List And Many More Thing.
#DB2020 Have Many Same Thing As Before Phones Have But This One Have Checksum Security This Main Security Which Is Impossible to Clone or Repair If Its Damage Or Corrupted. (There Is Solution To Repair Via Tp)

Is There Any Way To Do Repair GDFS of DB2020 Phones ?

YOU CAN BACKUP FULL GDFS OF YOU DAMAGED PHONE WITH BACKUP GDFS OPTION. (not need but recommended.)Select Working Phone GDFS Or Downloaded GDFS From support site,
Now Select Proper GDFS At MICS (…) Option As For We Have W850 Or Any xyz DB2020 MODEL.
NOW CLICK ON WRITE GDFS BUTTON. AFTER SUCCESS FULL WRITE. BE SURE THAT YOU HAVE SELECTED CORRECT GDFS OR YOU HAVE TO RE WRITE IT AGAIN.

Click On MICS Selection Button Again (…) Select Your Backup File (SEC ZONE)
Now Click On WRITE SCRIPT.

In Case If Any One Started Phone Without Writing Backup Of Original Phone (SEC ZONE) You Have To Use Com Ports Ftdi Base Any U Can Use To Rewrite Your Backup. In 99.99%
Your GDFS Problem Will Solve. After This.

13. How To Flash Phone With XS ++?
A . Start xs++
Turn of the phone.
Press the button connect.
Hold "C" button on the phone and connect the DCU-60 cable.
if CID is lower then 52 xs++ will ask you if you want to upgrade CID press yes.
Tick flash main firmware and browse for your main.
Tick flash file system and browse for your fs.
Tick customize file system select phone model and region.
Press the flash button and wait.

14. how to Upgrade CID DB2020 with xs++ (cid49 to 52) ?
A . Start xs++
Turn of the phone.
Press the button connect.
Hold "C" button on the phone and connect the DCU-60 cable.
if CID is lower then 52 xs++ will ask you if you want to upgrade CID press yes.
